Beginning today, March 30, all accounts will be migrated over to UC San Diego Health over the next month to ensure optimal security. See below for how to determine when your account will be migrated.

The migration process includes the following:

  • Campus OneDrive account will be set to a read-only mode when your account migration begins.
  • Private Chats will be copied over to the UC San Diego Health tenant.
  • Initial copy of OneDrive data migrated to UC San Diego Health tenant.
  • Final “delta” copy of any new files located in your Campus OneDrive migrated to UC San Diego Health tenant.
  • More information is available in the OneDrive FAQ

When will my Campus OneDrive account be migrated?
You can search the migration schedule on Pulse to determine when your account will be migrated. Enter your username in the search box, then click Username.

What action is required?

  • If you currently use the Campus OneDrive Sync client (@ucsd.edu), you may encounter errors if you add anything new to folders that are synched to this location. Please re-map your OneDrive sync to the @health account: Use @health.ucsd.edu to login here: https://ucsdhs-my.sharepoint.com (SharePoint Online

  • If you don’t use OneDrive, no action is required. However, it is important to note that when you do choose to use your OneDrive account, it will be on the UC San Diego Health tenant, requiring you to log in using your @health account.
